Creating G Pop's

Entrepreneurial, articulate and ambitious are phrases used to describe Garrett Ley (agricultural business). Since childhood, Garrett has been interested in creating his own business. His newest venture is popcorn.

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University has a multitude of resources available to help students like Garrett make dreams a reality. The Agricultural Entrepreneurial Initiative (AgEI) is just one of the supports available for students who have the start-up mentality.

Now, Garrett is legally permitted to manufacture his popcorn in a revamped barn and sell to retailers. With a little help and support, he is working on going corporate with G Pop’s Gourmet Popcorn. Read more about G Pop’s.
