Picking the right path

Hannah Fisher (agriculture and society) was unsure where exactly she fit at Iowa State. So she decided to take the time to explore all the opportunities available and jumped head first into a variety of things designed to help guide Hannah toward her passion.

In the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, students can take time to explore all the opportunities and find the perfect major. By enrolling as an agriculture exploration student, you have the chance to take a variety of courses, learn about all the programs, and participate in extracurricular activities like clubs as you refine your passion without getting behind.

Taking the time to learn about all the opportunities gave Hannah time to develop her passion, talk with mentors, and reflect on her future. Now, she has complete confidence that her major is the perfect fit and that she won’t be switching any time soon.
