Rachael Barnes (agricultural systems technology, global resource systems) had not considered studying abroad until she was encouraged by a friend.

Rachael participated in a service learning program in Uganda that allowed her to learn through hands-on learning experiences while also making a global impact. As a result of participating in the program, Rachael gained an interest in international studies and added global resource systems as a second major.
